My Routine, My Life.

Life in recent years has been pretty straight-foward, if you get my pun.

Its about work, rest, and friends - Straight friends.
We seem to be the only gay couple hanging around them most of the time.

And we have sort of lost touch with our gay friends. Occasionally, I still have dinner with a few of my old friends, but that's it. He hasn't gone out with his gay friends for a long while.

We haven't been to any gay events (those Christmas/New Year parties, Mardi Gras, etc). Have we lost touch with the gay community ? I don't know if I have been really that "in-touch" with it in the first place. (Other than going to gay clubs.)

Recently, a Singapore Polytechnic survey showed that 50% of youngsters (aged below 30) interviewed are "acceptable" to homosexuals. Should it be more ?

Maybe what we have been doing is also part of integrating into the society as a whole. At least, we do not just stick to gay friends and stop socializing with the rest of the world, just because they are straight...

Except I am still not ready to be out to the whole world yet... Just those few friends...
