What else do I have to say ?
My life hasn't been that gay recently, thus the lack of updates. Ha ha.
Just felt that I am being more alien.
Just the last weekend, I spent about 3 hours walking around Vivocity. And out of the noisy crowds that I have overheard, I gather that less than half are Singaporeans. Either Singaporeans are really quiet, or they are just elsewhere...
At my work place, more empty offices were taken up. Parking has been filled. More people around. And I noticed more foreigners.
Please note that I am not xenophobic, neither am I discriminatory. I just observed. There is a large European company about 60% (from what I can observe) are Caucasians. It felt like they were in Singapore very long. Why ? Cos they are not the usual cheery, smiley, friendly Ang mohs that I usually encounter.
Another big group of Indians (I still cannot be sure whether they are foreigners or locals) and Filipinos. These are the few that takes their lunch on the window sill along the corridor. I do not have problems with them being thrifty and packing their own lunch. But for goodness sake, keep the area clean. There has been drops food lying around and lots of ants at the windows since then. Even with the constant cleaning by the cleaners.
Probably can't blame them much... The environment they grew up in probably didn't need them to be so careful it... But at least be considerate when they are here... *sigh*
